Weekend Kickoff: “Killing Kennedy”, The Movie

As I mentioned in a blog post last week, I recently finished reading Bill O’Reilly’s book Killing Kennedy.  This week, O’Reilly announced exciting news on The O’Reilly Factor – National Geographic Channel (which also ran a movie earlier this year for O’Reilly’s previous book Killing Lincoln) is moving forward with the casting of a TV movie version of Killing Kennedy.  NGC has lined up Rob Lowe as President Kennedy and Ginnifer Goodwin as Jackie.  Michelle Trachtenberg has also signed on to play Marina Oswald, wife of JFK’s assassin.  No word yet on who will play Lee Harvey Oswald.  The film is slated to begin filming sometime next month, with the premiere likely falling around the 50th anniversary of JFK’s assassination on November 22, 2013.  I’m looking forward to this one!  Unfortunately, I don’t have National Geographic Channel, but hopefully this will have an eventual release on DVD or Video on Demand service.  If you haven’t yet, I highly recommend reading the book and tuning into the movie if you have NGC!  (I am also open to invitations to watch the movie with someone who has better cable service than I do.)
